Leinster Rugby Cricket Team

Did anyone elso notice the article in yeasterday's IT sports section about the Leinster Rugby Cricket team, I think they may be taking on Malahide!

im intrigued....that would be interesting to see. i know the crusaders take on an NZ cricket legends team for charity. appreantly it goes down a storm

Whose on the team?

Miller certainly....I can't recall any Belvo lads on the Leinster panel,

I'd assume Jowitt, Byrnes, Gissing, Gleeson, Warner, Green, Hepworth could turn out as they're all from countries that play a bit more cricket than we do.

Gerry Murphy is playing, I think.

Would be tempted to go watch the game! Knoxie represented Australia at under 19 level.

Could we get Alan Lewis to play? Naturally the day would have to be a scorcher with not a cloud in the sky so he could top up the oul tan! :mrgreen:
