Sonny Bill Williams's boxing debut in Brisbane next month has been confirmed, with the former Bulldogs superstar to fight four rounds on the undercard to Anthony Mundine's middleweight world title bout against Daniel "The Real Deal" Geale.
Mundine announced details of Williams's bout, which is part of The Man's second TKO to Drugs promotion, on The Footy Show last night. Williams, who walked out on the Dogs last year to play rugby union in France, has been training for the fight in a Toulon boxing gym.
The May 27 bout is just 11 days before his return to Sydney to play for the Barbarians against the Wallabies at the SFS on June 6. The match is certain to attract the attention of All Blacks selectors, who are considering him for the 2011 World Cup.

"I can read you like a book. And not a very good book. Certainly not ‘Bravo Two Zero’ by Andy McNabb. Which actually improves with every read." AP
