Have you played the Glebe in Trim now there is one sh!t golf course!! I don't know how it is a GUI member

Hollystown. Pure muck, unless you're a Taxi driver with a chip on your shoulder. 27 holes, and none of them are any good.

Ballymoney is Wexford is another heap, but I don't think it has any GUI status.

Some brilliantly under-rated and hidden gems in Wicklow. Always loved Courtown too (irrational love). Headford too.

You might be right today but that honour definitely used to go to the European Club, which has since developed into an excellent track. Pat Ruddy, the owner, used to seduce writers from golf magazines to put it in the top 20 in the world when it was an immature wasteland.

Other over-rated courses include Druid's Glen, Powerscourt and Luttrelstown.
