Sheepshaggers Cousin to play in World Cup?

According to todays Irish Times, Germany may play Bastien Schweinsteiger in place of Michael Ballack. Schweinsteiger apparently translates as Pig Mounter. Is there a connection? Are they related? Is Herr Schweinsteiger from the Munster region of Germany? If so, should SS be worried? Why hasn't there been a poll?
