Use it every now and again for cardio, otherwise stick to structured weight programs. Find it hard to track progress on crossfit. Also found that you may be finished after 25 minutes and after a few minutes rest were able to go again so didn't see the point.

Re: NFL
Saints come to South Florida with a 100% record, but I have a feeling the Fish will hand them their first loss.
Dolphins run game needs to produce a score on every drive in the first half, with a bit of pass game from Henne. Saints' D-line is small, so they'll have to beef up the line to stop Williams and Brown. Should be some space in behind for Henne and the Wildcat.
Miami pass defence is cack though. If Brees gets on the park much and doesn't get blitzed, Miami are toast.
Saints like astroturf and a roof. They're going to get grass, heat and rain. We'll see...

I played line (both ways) for the Dublin Lightning back in the day. Do you play?

Re: NFL
Yeah play TE for the Rhinos.
Why dont up play anymore?
We could do with some experience on the line - not even palying!

Re: NFL
Anyone care to pick the winners this wild-card weekend?
I'm going for my Jets over the Bengals, Pats over Ravens, Arizona over the Pack and the Cowboys over Philly.
I just LOVE Wild Card Weekend!

Jets, Ravens, Pack and America's team.
I'd love to see the Cardinals win but not sure their D can stop the Pack. Its in sunny Arizona though so hopefully that will help.

Re: NFL
Cards will beat the pack. They did a Leinster @ Dragons for the game last weekend once they saw that the Vikings had secured 2nd.
Jets, Raven and Cowboys for the others.

Re: NFL
dear sweet holy jesus, that was sh!t from the pats. No run defence, ravens finished with 34 yards passing all game. f%~k all from the offence as well, faulk and edelmann done good. Randy was too quiet for my liking, a return to the bad old days? Lets hope not. TB - what the f%~k? Has he ever played so badly? Gave the defence a tough time of from turnovers.
Ah well, as long as someone stops the colts i'll be happy.

The Pats a re a long way from what they were.tate wrote:dear sweet holy jesus, that was sh!t from the pats.
The one dimensional Ravens pounded them.
Their corner backs and safety's are weak too so any team with decent receivers would destroy them.
And they'll always be remembered as cheats
That Cardinals/Pack game was something else.

Re: NFL
Great Game, always wondered why a few top class rugby kickers never gave the NFL a go ( Beside ROG's rumoured approach just before his contract renewal a few years ago) The missed kick by the Cardinals could have cost them the win.Avenger wrote:The Pats a re a long way from what they were.tate wrote:dear sweet holy jesus, that was sh!t from the pats.

ball is very different, and much more difficult to kick. But the mechanics would be there fo' sho'Armchair wrote:Great Game, always wondered why a few top class rugby kickers never gave the NFL a go ( Beside ROG's rumoured approach just before his contract renewal a few years ago) The missed kick by the Cardinals could have cost them the win.Avenger wrote:The Pats a re a long way from what they were.tate wrote:dear sweet holy jesus, that was sh!t from the pats.

Re: NFL
I'm only getting back into the NFL after years away, but I was impressed by the way the Cowboys dismantled the Eagles.
Cards Packers game was like a sevens match! Crazy stuff altogether.
The Bodymore Ravens killed the Pats but attack looked a little one-dimensional. a good rush defense will test them.

Back in the day, Paul Thorburn and Gavin Hastings appeared in some of the exhibition games played in Wembley as guest kickers. Think they only allowed them to take the extra points though.tate wrote:ball is very different, and much more difficult to kick. But the mechanics would be there fo' sho'Armchair wrote:
