MLB Postseason

Post by brian_c »

Difficult to get into it this year as my Red Sox are out, but is anybody else following the baseball playoffs? Can't get behind an AL East team so I'm thinking twins for the AL pennant and giants for the NL As for the world Series, who knows.
Its a by-pass. You've got to build by-passes.

Go Reds! 11 years since I was in the 'natti and finally a legitimate reason to dig out my shirt, although it may only be for another couple of days.

A no-hitter in game 1? Come on.

In fairness Halladay is probably the best pitcher in baseball.

A perfect game and a no hitter in the same year - should he head for the hall of fame now, or wait til he retires!

That was impressive, I think Halladay has given me a team to shout for this post season.

Oh yeah, the opposition of the first team supported on this thread. I call shenanigans!

Tight win for the Giants in Atlanta. The Rangers and the Yankees are 2 games up but about to hit the road.

Halladay's just the 5th player in baseball history to have two no-hitters in one season. The first, of course, was a Red.

You might want to hide that shirt! Bottom of the 7th, extraordinary number of errors from the Reds, including two in one play.

Gorrammit!! 4-0 up and they throw it away. Can't see them turning it around on the road.

Yankees were away for the first two!

Following the Yankees as worked in a bar in ny last year and baseball became my cricket replacement during my time over there. Their World Series win also ended up earning me money as boring midweek nights would be packed out for the ps games.
