Ireland open their U19 campaign tonight against Greece followed by the Czech Republic on Saturday and Romania on Tuesday.

Ireland kept clean sheets against Italy, Ukraine and Poland in qualifying for the tournament for the first time since 2002.

Belgium, Serbia, Spain and Turkey make up the other group at the finals with the top two from each going into the semi finals on Friday, July 29th.

2 goals in 4 minutes gives the Czechs to lead. 2-1 with 15 to go.

Finished 2-1 leaving Ireland needing a result against Romania to progress.

Greece beat Romania 1-0 leaving the hosts without a goal or a point and playing for nothing but pride against Ireland.

Greece on the other hand are level on points, goal difference and goals scored with Ireland and in with a chance for a semi final spot if they beat the Czech Republic.
