Cheltenham 2012

Post by Smeehank »

Would have thought there would be a thread up for this already. Have my bets on early doors for today.

My picks today
1.30 Steps to freedom is my pick for this. Gallileos Choice seems to be favourite but this is a grade up so could be a stretch imo
2.05 Al Ferof (Opposing Sprinter Sacre here but PP are doing a money back special if Sprinter Sacre wins so no huge risk)
2.40 Quantative Easing
3.20 Hurricane Fly. Binocular a decent each way or betting w/o
4.00 Would be thinking Sizing Australia (winner last year) but fairly open
4.40 Quevega (Not worth the bet as price so short)
5.15 Haven't really looked at this race yet

What is everyone else thinking?

* nobody should take these as tips. I don't win enough to be trusted like that!

Some one put a quid on Mon Mome!! 33/1 EW...2009 Grand National Winner. Ground will suit him. Shouldn't be written off so easily.

Other than that, take a treble of Sprinter Sacre, Hurricane Fly and Quevega. Binocular is a decent EW too.

Ended up doing the treble on the three money on favourites. One third there!
