Record goal scored by Klose. Fully deserved second for Germany, and a fully deserved record for Klose.

As I write, it's just gone 3-0 and Brazil will be in damage-limitation mode. Doing a spot of defending might be a start

This is mental. Thought the game was being played at a mad pace at the start, was really shaping up to be a cracker, it's dead now. Brazilians leaving too many holes at the back, but that score is still mad.

Fans turning on Fred, suspect he'll be made the scapegoat. Why not boo the shameless theatrics that Brazil are employing, Maicion, Marcelo and the while Brazilian midfield. How the ref has not booked a single Brazil player is beyond even the comprehension of the keenest minds. On a positive note €50m in Chelsea's pocket for Luiz is the deal of the decade so far.

Just read this on twitter "Can you imagine if you were a Brazilian fan with a Garth Brooks ticket. Worst night ever!

Easy for the Germans, they are used to taking on more than one country at a time.

Whatever about Messi winning the Golden Boot award, I am sure that Eamon Sweeney is writing a very long letter of protest about Colombia winning the Fair Play award.
