I'd be on for a game anyway.
Milltowns a good course, a little short, put pure Affluence in fairness.

It looks as if we could have around 8 players to begin with, of varying standard. It would be helpful if people could PM me GUI or society handicaps if they have them. We then need a date and venue - is Milltown open for bookings EP (and what would the green fees be like?)

Am brutal. Haven't played since Xmas eve. Play about 3 games a year but would enjoy a game for a laugh.

Be patient Grumpy, as soon as it gets off the ground "everyone will jump on the Bandwagon"

Send Fred Funk a PM about it. He was talking / interested in setting up a society a while back!

No point in doing Milltown, for the price you lads would pay, could find a better course further out of the city. Plus no clubhouse at the moment. Im in anyway

As you know I am a scratch golfer.
When the ball only goes 10 feet off the tee
I scratch my head and wonder why I bother

I play a bit of golf( 3/4 times a week at the minute!) and my father and his mate play. We are all members of the supporters club. If something was organised i'm sure we could drag ourselves along. Would also have other mates of different standards who attend the Leinster matches who could be interested. Ideally though you would need it to be a Friday afternoon or weekend to get a decent number, with everybody's work commitments, or maybe just organise a 12/15 hole competition one evening, with the obvious drinks to follow.....
