Dragons vs Leinster daytrip - Sunday 27/3

Post by sheepshagger »

Been watching flight prices for this, was hoping they would drop a bit but just incase they don't went ahead and booked. KO is 2.30pm so the morning flight in and return that evening is perfect.

€36 for the flights all in with Ryanair to Bristol . . . will probably hire a car (45 min drive) but the train is also an option (from £15 return each and the journey is about 80 mins each way).

Yep. Bear in mind that fare is with my young person's card. would be about £25 return for yourself.

EDIT: I was bob on, £12.50 each way per adult.

Is that meant to be 30 mins? Did the trip couple of seasons ago and thought we took a commuter type train, don't remember it taking that long but I could have nodded off for while :)

I'll be joining you all for this one (another ground to tick off the list). Not too shabby at €50 either 8)
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

My advice. Stay in Bath and get the train up for the game and straight back afterwards.

My advice is: Never do a day trip for a rugby match. Not worth travelling just to come straight back. :)

Notification received from Ryanair of a change in flight time on the return leg, was leaving Bristol at 9.20pm now departs at 7.55pm... nothing too major (infact is better as get home a few hours earlier) shouldnt affect getting to/from the airport & Newport.

KO is 2.30pm
