Amlin Cup Final... Who's goin?

Post by Skinfull »

Those of us who have tickets to the final and hell those of us who will get them if (read: WHEN!) Leinster secure their place... will you consider going to the amlin cup final as well on the friday night? We're heading over on an early ferry friday morning and have already booked cheap as chips (3 for under £35) tickets for the Amlin Cup Final. Anyone else goin?

*Oh! Poll opportunity! I don't think I've ever had one before! WOO!

I have a ticket for it that I hope to use.

No travel/accommodation booked although I did just remember I have an uncle I haven't seen in years living in Bridgend which has potential on the accommodation front!

Where are you getting the ferry from SF.....Dublin-Holyhead? There's four of us heading over around 7.30am Friday and yeah, the plan is to get tickets for the Amlin when we get to Cardiff.

I'm on the same ferries out and back - we'll be able to have a mini convoy

Btw, I also decided last night that in order to recover from the weekend in Cardiff I definitely need a night away the following week so I booked a hotel/spa in Limerick for Saturday 28th May!!!

For those who bought Heineken cup final tickets you can get a discount on Amlin tickets. You're restricted to blocks 105/106 (behind the posts) for £11.70 or block 207 (at try line) for £28.80. Normal prices are £20 and £36.
You need to go to Amlin Challenge ticketmaster page and enter your confirmation no in the discount box.

If we make the final will be in Cardiff on the Friday night, don't have Amlin tickets, may just watch in a boozer given it's out at Cardiff City Stadium (would go if it was at the Milleniumn).

Probably not far off that but you can't walk it...dunno if I can be bothered with transport to/from it from town...will decide later, tickets will only be a problem if Munster get there.

It's not that far SS......we walked it comfortably last year from the centre of town for the Magners game.(25 mins or so iirc?)

Oh, from a couple if visits (all by taxi) didn't think it could be walked as their were no footpaths in some parts...will decide if we get to the final.

It''s straight down ninian park road from central station, footpaths all the way. Took me about twenty minutes the other month.

The area you walk through is, ahem, a little rough round the edges.....
