10 of us going together...have the match tickets sorted since last July! 5 of us heading from Ireland, one flying from Belfast, the other 4 of us sailing from Dublin to Holyhead(yours truly driving).Going out Friday am and return sailing is late Sunday afternoon. Another 5 based in Blighty meeting up with us Friday evening. Two nights in Holiday Inn for 4 people (2 twins) booked since Jan(same time as the boat was booked)..Not sure where the other 6 are staying.

The core of this group(myself included) have done every Heineken final since 2006(I missed 2008)......it's easier when you just decide you're going to go regardless, allows you get travel & accomodation sorted reasonably inexpensively.
We all dream of a team of Sean O'Briens......

Please, please, please correct the spelling in the title and help prevent high blood pressure as this thread will be on the active page for at least three weeks.

Either that or everyone who has posted please amend your posts to say what your role will be in Cardiff.

And yes, I am grouchy because I can't go.

Me driving + 2

Has anyone any experience with driving Pembroke to Cardiff though?

We're arriving in just before 1 on the day (hopefully) but I'm just wondering now how long it takes to actually get off the ferry and down to Cardiff? I assumed I had plenty of time with it only being 120km away but now I'm thinking that that leaves it kind of tight? Hmmm...

Cheers...

Going with Car by Stena Ferry + 3 others on Thurs 19th @ 21.15 from Rosslare - back Sunday 14.30. Accomodation thanks to an exiled Irish friend in Cardiff. Happy Days. Pity Muns not in town - will miss the banter/slagging! Should be an epic w/e.

Me + 4 of the Clan. (including the token Munster supporter who is being given a light Blue Jacket for the day to cover over the terrible red shirt  )
Car Leaving Cork, Heading for Rosslare and onward to Cardiff. 9am Sat Morning Ferry, 2.45 Sunday morning Ferry Home after the match.

Takes about 2hrs 45 to get to Cardiff from Fishguard. Think the Ferry were on gets in at 12.45 so it will be up the road at maximum (legal) warp speed...

Tae and Sangwiches outside the stadium then from the boot i reckon. Everyone knows tastes better after a long drive/ferry ride.
Wexford man stuck in Cork....
