Cardiff Travel

Post by TerenureJim »

Hey has anyone come across any good deals on getting over the water, I received some messages on facebook about bus & ferry combo for €60 and car/ferry with four persons for €187 but unfortunately doesn't seem to be available at those sort of rates online. Obviously haven't tried the phone yet. Anybody found any other interesting ideas?

The Sail & Rail Combo tickets with Stena Line & Irish Ferries from Dublin Port to Holyhead & then on the train to Cardiff (with a couple of changes) are working out at about €90 return leaving Friday Lunchtime & Returning Sunday Morning!

Good luck finding accomodation in Cardiff unless you plan staying in a tent?? :mullet 3: :mullet 3: :mullet 1:

Booked the car on the ferry through Rosslare on the Firday night so arrive Cardiff early Saturday morning it's and leave Sunday afternoon, a full car which worked out at just over €100 a head . Now as for accomodation well methinks a tent and an accomodating rugby club may have to be found.........
