Doing Ryanair to Gatwick, Sleazyjet to Montpellier Out Friday back Sunday. Booked Ibis central.
The French away trips are always the best. Last year in Clermont was epic.

Just a note. . . there are 2 IBIS's in the centre of Montpellier. . .the Comedie one is rated number 5 whilst the other one is number 32 (in Montpellier) . . the first one looks to be closer to the main square.

or the other one http://www.ibishotel.com/gb/hotel-1391- ... ndex.shtml
Went with the Comedie one. . 2 nights for €90

Went with Ibis comedie as well, after being stuck out in the sticks in Clermont, it's important to be somewhere within walking distance of the pub.

Really looking forward to this trip. Looks an absolutely beautiful city to visit and I'm sure there will be a great buzz in the place as I think it's their first time in the Heinken Cup. Certainly their first time in ages.
Fitzpatricks pub looks to have the makings of a good base but hopefully Montpellier supporters will have a bar too that we can visit.

You lot are in for a treat.
I went there on holiday last week. It's a cracking place. Very young and very lively
If you can't fly to Montpellier direct, Carcassonne is a good option. Navette (€5) takes you to the rail station and leaves 30 mins after landing. Trains to Montpellier are cheap (if booked well in advance) and plentiful. Usually takes about one and a half hours, or a bit longer if you have to change at Narbonne.

Myself and the Folks are flying to Lyon with Aer Lingus and getting the TGV into Montpellier. About €200 to get there and back without too much hassle.
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

The flights to carcosonne have started to get expensive!!
It looks like people are booking the IBIS comedie, which looks like a good option. Hotel prices certainly a lot more favorable than Bath!
I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the game is being moved to a larger venue outside Montepellier?
