Was Edinburgh Central...just off the royal mile, a stones throw from the IBIS (where I'd normally stay but was v pricey ).

Haymarket is still £29 for the Friday night. Trains are pretty pricey though.

Purchased an 'Anygame' voucher from the SRU - save a fiver on the gate price and you can sit anywhere in the unreserved areas.

Was expecting to have to collect on the day as they don't normally post abroad but it arrived yesterday 8)

The anygame voucher allows you to go anywhere that is unreserved.

Apologies I didn't mean you needed a different ticket- just trying to point out Murrayfield's new policy of being able to "get closer to the action" (in a mostly empty 67000 seater stadium).

A quick heads up - I can get a friends rate in the Innkeepers lodge in Corstorphine (about 10 mins walk from Murrayfield), on a double room including breakfast, for £30 per night.

PM if anyone is interested.

It's cheaper to fly than train
