Think its pretty much anywhere people could get - not a lot of choice as its a small enough place and what there was avaliable was pricey.bails wrote:Where are people staying in Bath the weekend after next ?

There's a place called Pratt's Hotel that I've stayed in a few times before for rugby games. It's basically Fawlty Towers, but it's centrally located and sufficiently clean/comfortable for a one or two night stay.

Not as bad as it sounds, with UK pubs closing early and the last train to Bristol (from Bath) at midnight you won't be missing a lot on that night.nelly the elephant wrote:Like many we're domiciled in Bristol for the (Sunday) night.......

Bristol only up the road, lots of trains to Temple Meads. You might get some B&Bs in the surrounding villages. Radstock and Midsomer Norton have cheap stuff but they are not super pretty places, but they are 20 mins from the airport by taxi. Taxi is usually a bit pricey e.g 32 quid to get from Bath to my house which is 11 miles away
