Flag Nazis at Bristol Airport

Post by mikey »

Just a word of warning for those of you flying back home from Bristol after the Bath game, and hoping to take your flags - I was refused boarding (and pretty much lost my cool entirely) by Servisair groundstaff on the outbound to Montpellier, who insisted that my Leinster flags were too large to be classed as hand luggage. Would suggest either OLSC seeking the OK from the airport, or secreating them about your person (this was at boarding NOT security).....or doing as I did and snapping them angrily in front of the boarding fascists!!

Hopefully there won't be the same problem at Dublin but I might just keep mine inside the coat anyway ;)
