Loads of travel options. Will wait until end of September to decide what to do. (Railsail, Air or Ferry with M/C).

For those travelling by Rail within the UK, this site has been recommended by the UK's foremost Rail Travel, Timetabling and Ticketing Expert, Barry Doe, for the purchase of tickets.

Barry is the only person I trust in providing accurate and up to date information on UK Bus and Rail Ticketing and Timetabling. He has been doing this for the last 30 years, and acted as an independent advisor for British Rail on Timetables and Fares, a role which he continues to fulfill for Network Rail and the Train Operating Companies presently. His website can be accessed here.

There is really good value on flights to and from Bristol with Ryanair at the moment for anyone thinking of booking. Afternoon flight on the Friday was €26

We're doing a day-trip. Just realised that the flight out is 6.35! If you spot a couple of people napping at the match while something exciting is happen, do us a favour and wake us up.
Cheers!

Daytrip can still be done for under €100 pp (excl match ticket)
Same day flights for €70 with Ryanair
The OLSC tweeted on Friday saying they were doing a airport transfer bus for the same day Ryanair flights for €25 return pp (much cheaper and less hassle than the indirect train).

If anyone, whose flying out on Friday afternoon, would be interested in getting to Llanelli without the hassle of trains I found this site: http://www.llanellitravel.co.uk
In the event that there isn't an OLSC transfer on the Friday and with enough people, it could be a good option. There are 4 of us going on the Friday.

I hired a car from Friday to Sunday for 76 juros. Even with petrol that has to be cheaper than a taxi from Bristol to Clanetley. probably work out at 25 to 30 euros each between 4. 4 return trainfares inc transfer by bus to temple meads.... I shudder to think how dear that would be.Cianostays wrote:If anyone, whose flying out on Friday afternoon, would be interested in getting to Llanelli without the hassle of trains I found this site: http://www.llanellitravel.co.uk

Plus you have the option of farting around Wales on the Sunday.

Good value there alright. I suppose this is geared more towards those who either can't or don't want to drive. They also do minibus and coaches as options which, if enough people were interested, is what we'd be looking at.johng wrote:I hired a car from Friday to Sunday for 76 juros. Does anyone have information on tickets? WIll they only be available from Scarlets closer to time and presume there will be an allocation directly to Leinster?
