Amlin QF - Friday 5 April at 8pm in High Wycombe

Post by sheepshagger »

Booked BA into LHR on Friday, out of Luton on the Saturday.

Using a rental car to get to/from HW - staying in the luxurious Travelodge for £20 !

Given the late KO picking its not worth leaving HW that night as most pubs will be closing by the time you'd get anywhere.

I have at least +1, possibly another 4.

What will the story be with tickets - general sale, or have to rely on ST allocation?

Did look at B'ham but early Friday morning flight didn't suit and afternoon one could be cutting it fine if there are any delays.

Nice lunchtime flights both ways 8)

Will wait for our allocation so am in with the blue.

Looking at flying into London Luton on Friday AM and renting a car, flying back on Saturday afternoon. Will probably miss the Clermont\Montpellier game but all going well could be back home for the Saracens\Ulster game.

What's there to do in High Wycombe to kill a few hours before the game?

£22 train is a good deal (off peak).
£20 Travel lodge on the way from train to ground.
£18 Greene King Terrace.

£60 all in, not bad :D

Yep. Me too. Would not miss a chance to see my mate's team being given a good hiding!

Will probably ride over. Only 4.5 hours from Holyhead to my mate's place in Tring. Bike is due for its annual service, and I always get it done at a place around 10Km from Wycombe (specialist dealer, and a good deal cheaper than getting it done in Dublin). Will watch the Sarries v Ulster game on Saturday. Head back at my leisure on Sunday, (can't be arsed with the other game in London. Have no interest in either team).

Just me for this trip. The two with me in Exeter will not be attending !

I'm travelling thru Birmingham early Friday morning staying at the upmarket Premier Inn Central in High Wycombe. Plan to drink most of the day and back thru Birmingham early afternoon

I am led to believe HW is an absolute shithole so drinking may be all there is to do

Feel free to join me for a pint

Just saw on th OLSC Facebook wall...

Head to our quarter final in April from €125pp. As we are not a bonded travel agent you will need to book directly with the airline, bus and hotel. Fly Ryanair to Luton on Friday morning, returning Saturday afternoon (€86). Travel between the airport and High Wycombe return with a direct National Express coach (€15), finally stay at the High Wycombe central Travelodge (€24).

Good deal considering the date of the KO was announced yesterday.

flights booked! Thursday to Sunday to London city (have family in the east end to crash with), love that Air France flight....

Now, tickets. Would prefer Leinster allocation but see they're on sale on the Wasps site. what odds the Leinster allocation will be over subscribed?
