Don't know about Belfast as I've never been on a night out there. I just don't fancy going on a day trip on a bus there and back on the day. I have nightmares about burst bladders on the way back.

Well I'm gonna do an overnighter this time so I guess I'll find out for myself. Sounds good though.sheepshagger wrote:Belfast is a great spot for a boozey night. . stayed over on Stephens Day night last year. . .have had a few decent sessions up there. . . makes you cry how cheap boozing is up thereDonny Brooke wrote:

Any tips on accomodation?
Eve / Limecat you may want to split this into a separate Ulster trip thread before Duff Paddy starts going mad.
Oh I see Sheepshagger has taken care of it himself.
At ease, mods!

Now that rugby's oldest bridesmaid has finally got hitched, she can cast a haughty glance towards Leinster, her high-living sister from Dublin, who, despite her immense beauty and vast potential, has trouble getting lucky.

May I suggest:olaf the fat wrote:where are we all going to meet up before TP and where will be good after?
The Shannon bar directly after the final whistle to drown your sorrows in good company while the crowds move off, then across the bridge to Dolans for food and Ale until the early hours. (or a visit to the sinbin is always an option)

First thing people should take care of is taking the day off (if they need to)thecoolfreak wrote:I think its time to start orgainisg a trip for this game. Its going to be one hell of agrudge match. Looking forward to it already
Its on Wedensday 27 December which is a Bank Holiday but not a Public Holiday
Tickets could indeed pose a problem, our small allocation won't be enough for the numbers who I think will go to the game (of which I will be one) and the band wagons will be out in full force so Munsters supply will be snapped up
