Well lads, was just thinking about my previous excursions to Coventry and thought I'd recommend a top watering hole for any of you actually staying there.
Gatehouse Tavern were exceptionally welcoming to all rugby supporters both times we were over there. Owner was an absolute gent too.
Co-ordinates for those with smart phones: 52.410045,-1.517048

Don't say us Munster lads never do anything for ye :)

The tickets should be sent out about a week before the game.

Thanks!

I don't know if this has been mentioned but a double-header of rugby can be had.

At the final whistle of Wasps v Leinster get taxi from The Ricoh (approx £10 and 10 mins) to The Butts Park Arena (pay on the gate £15, U16's free) and watch Coventry v Cinderford (kick off 3.30pm).

Coventry are challenging for promotion and currently on a 14 match winning run, our last home match had a gate of 1,938 and you would be made most welcome to join us at our family friendly rugby club.

The clubhouse has live music after the final whistle until approx 8.00pm from where Earlsdon or the city centre (and most of the hotels) are within walking distance.

Earlsdon is very popular with the rugby fraternity on a Saturday evening with several Irish pubs on Craven Street.

Cinderford played Richmond the day before our game against Quins, a few of us went to it. Richmond were c. 30 points up at HT and lost toa penalty in injury time. It was a cracking afternoons rugby.

Does anyone have any information on where is good to go out in Coventry pre/post the game? Will there be much going on around the ground?

Looks like it might be worth hanging round in the stadium to watch the Northampton game.

Ye wha? I've had an email from Wasps just now - you could use the contact details below to ask them about it (Ticket Office <ticketoffice@wasps.co.uk>)? For anyone that ordered direct here it is:

Thanks for your enquiry regarding the arrival of tickets for Wasps v Leinster.

We always send out the tickets the week of the match. These should be with you by Thursday at the latest.

If they haven’t arrived by Friday we can look at arranging reprints on the day.
