And how is this allocated then, season tickets get prority booking yes? Will there be further criteria.Donny Brooke wrote:We're entitled to 15% of tickets.sarah_lennon wrote:How many do we get allocated???
With the Gloucester capacity of 12,500 I make that 1875.
A lot would depend on how crucial the game is.
Ici, ici, c'est Dublin 4

well over 3k season ticket holders - looks like it'll be a lottery. Suppose we can only hope they organise to give the longest standing season ticket holders prioritysarah_lennon wrote:And how is this allocated then, season tickets get prority booking yes? Well as you say it will depend on the demand.sarah_lennon wrote:And how is this allocated then, season tickets get prority booking yes? Will there be further criteria.Donny Brooke wrote:We're entitled to 15% of tickets.sarah_lennon wrote:How many do we get allocated???

We may have 3,500 season ticket holders but not everyone is going to be travelling. Obviously the season ticket holders will get priority but if demand amongs the season tickets holders exceeds supply it may come down to a lottery.
I suppose Aine will just have to gauge demand a couple of months beforehand and take it from there.

I'd say it would be more dependent on what Leinster have to do. Don't forget Glaws season ticket holders get tickets anyway, and would turn up regardless of whether they're in or nor. (I went to Quins Munster a couple of seasons ago. Quins were already out, but there were some good players on show that day)sarah_lennon wrote:Say Glaws are out of it by then, not jumping to any conclusions here, we will have less hassle
If leinster have already qualified, I think some people may save up their money for the q-f or latter stages. If it's a must win, then it'll be hard to get tickets.
That said, it'll still be possible. I got my ticket for the Bath Leinster game last season the week of the game. OK, that's ok for me, as I'm UK based, but I think things will come up.

Right. I've just rung Gloucester. They're not selling tickets for the game yet, as the date hasn't been decided yet (good old Sky!).
There will be an ERC meeting in Dublin this week, and after that, they'll be able to either know the date of the game, or when the date will be set.
Then, the info will go up on the website.
But I reckon if you want to go, you'll be able to get tickets, somehow! And if I can help, just pm me!

Yep it is a big problem. Ironically MurrayField will be empty.Donny Brooke wrote:Perhaps, but I wouldn't be banking on it. It's still going to be a big occasion for them anyway and the Heineken Cup games are always a big draw over there.sarah_lennon wrote:Say Glaws are out of it by then, not jumping to any conclusions here, we will have less hassle
