Guide to Northampton from one who lives there

Food Wise in the town Centre, if you're looking for something really good your options are:

American BBQ - The Smoke Pit: https://goo.gl/maps/kjuWqo8JAwApQRno9
Indian - Aladdins (Bring your own beer): https://goo.gl/maps/gszEkrCopgs1rQZM6
Turkish - Pamukkale: https://goo.gl/maps/HaXcKwYTuRqHPYSq5
Breakfast - Dreams Coffee Lounge: https://goo.gl/maps/wx1vGPUCfvi9BM1G9
NB: St Giles street is full of nice boutique cafes and shops if that's your thing.

If you're willing to go a bit further out:
Japanese - Ginza: https://goo.gl/maps/owdRCohcfVQskseu8
Steaks - Hops and Chops: https://goo.gl/maps/q8YqPJzM7vBz3ME17

Drinking it depends what you're looking for.

If you're into your craft ales and/or real ales, check out the following:

Albion Bar at the Phipps Brewery, which has old bar games like Skittles and great local beer: https://goo.gl/maps/QdjnH2DTmZG1RJRc9
Wig & Pen: https://goo.gl/maps/ciD66WZW6EqUtFPFA
St Giles Ale House micropub: https://goo.gl/maps/hGZv8aLobVpsQxme8
Maule Collective: https://goo.gl/maps/8GihLeGdjzcbzPTS8
Lamplighter: https://goo.gl/maps/7MFwwxfr7bSb3BjM6
Olde England: https://goo.gl/maps/4vSFi4vMxm7Ph6uR8

And if you're desperate for a good coffee:

Yellow Bourbon Coffee Roasters - https://goo.gl/maps/1Zq5c8qhEqNQuWPeA

People should already be familiar with the Thomas Becket, The St James WMC and the Sevens from previous visits. There's a lot of talk about how the high street in Northampton is dying - and it is, but there's plenty just a few streets along so don't believe the hype.

Fine town can’t wait to return thanks for all the info, will been on the terrace again in Franklins Gardens love the ground !. Prices in Marseille for the final still quite reasonable much more accommodation still available than there was for Newcastle this time last year !.
