Thanks to everyone who has been in touch! I'm pretty confident now that this will be going ahead. We still need a few more to cover everything, but with over a fortnight still to go, this should be fine.

Those whose names I currently have are:

jedifart
Duff Paddy
Malahide Mullet + 1
Sean O'Neill
Tara
CRAZYDAVE
Beer Baron
T.C.B.

With one or two to get back to me, this is looking good.

As I've pointed out to those who've been in touch, if the unimaginable happens and we don't get as many as I hoped for, this could cost a bit more than originally anticipated. However, if it turns out that it would be any more than €40 each, I'll be cancelling the bus, as even €40 for travel alone is fairly steep, and I'd rather get the Citylink bus myself than pay that. I'm hoping that it won't be quite that much, though.

I'm looking into getting match tickets sorted for those on the bus so we don't have to worry about such trivialities when we arrive in Galway.

A 24-seater bus has been booked anyway (cheaper than any 16-seater I got quotes for, believe it or not!), so there are still quite a few seats remaining for anyone who wants one. Just pm me or leave a message here and I'll get back to you.

(Thanks Eve for the announcement :) )

Duff, I'm overcome with emotion. That's possibly the nicest thing anyone's ever said about me on here. I do hope this bus works out tho. I've been exploring the helicopter option harry suggested last Friday, but it seems that the helicopter pilots of Ireland are all retiring after the Ryder Cup. :x

Jedi I would like to confirm

Sean O'Neill
The venerable Malahide Mullet esquire
Danthefan
David farren

for the trip to Connacht
Now that rugby's oldest bridesmaid has finally got hitched, she can cast a haughty glance towards Leinster, her high-living sister from Dublin, who, despite her immense beauty and vast potential, has trouble getting lucky.

Sean O'Neill
The disreputable Malahide Mullet esquire
Danthefan
David farren
Duff Paddy
Tara
CRAZYDAVE
Beer Baron
T.C.B.
jedifart

C'mon people, use your last holiday or pull a sicky. As far as I know, Setanta won't be showing this match so the only way to see it is to be there. There are still some spaces left... contact me if interested...
