Harp Bus to Gringoland
OK, just spent an hour wading through all the cr@p on the other bus thread. I think we have 100 sign ups for the 2 Harp buses. Here's the list:
Flas, TCB, Rexy, Sarah L +1, Rex Banner, CKav, Dave Cahill, Mauler, Fungal boy +3, 6 Harp brewers, Combat logo, Grumpy, Duke R +1, Donny, Git, Jedifart, KTF +1, Slipper, Beer Baron plus mrs, Limecat, Leinster lady, HarryP, True Blue, Olaf the Fat, Byrnepower +1, Phil06 plus Dad, Tate, Coolfreak, Apple +1, El Diablo, Sheepshagger, CrazyDave, Jamotec, Bluesky +1, Mullet, Dan the Fan, Nailer, Farren, Donny B 3 mates, Duff, Leinsterman, Leinsterbabe, StuF + 3, Leopold, Tara Plus Ken Dodd, Meinster +2, JRC, Dodderee, Mrs Miggins, Teensy, Brian C +1, Avenger, Git +1, Big Deep Blue, Fitz, MDesmond, Sundy +1, Dr.Gonzo +2, Chillers +2, RonnieK+2, Deco +1, Superstar +1.
By my reckoning that makes 97. KTF will confirm that we have 2*49 seat buses.
Couple of things:
1. Schedule to go up monday. Plan is to meet in Kielys main bar at 1pm right beside the Harp tap for a couple of warmers...
2. We do not have confirmation that we can drink on the bus yet. New safety regulations are pretty tough - so be prepared that you might not be allowed.
3. We will stop at the Great Northern Brewery on the way up for a couple of free pints of Harp (number one in blind tests etc etc) for all OVER 18 and some food - soft drinks available if you want too. What you do afterwards is your own business, but can I ask you not to show up completely hammered and that you don't wreck the place - this is myself and Fungalboy's job....
4. We aim to arrive at Ravers at around 18.00. Plenty of time to have a few pints in the Harp tent and get onto the terrace.
5. Getting tickets is your own responsibility.
OK - just to reconfirm your sign up, can you stick your name on this thread. And please no banter - I had to wade through 14 pages of cr@p on the last one. Are you listening Dave Cahill......
For anybody who wants, we'll pass a hat if you want to stick in a fiver/tenner - which we'll use for putting towards a bus to the Turnip Patch. This is completely voluntary, so if you're strapped for cash, don't worry about it.
Special thanks to the Leinster fans in the Harp Brewery for all their help in making this happen.
