Rob, if there's a bus to Bath and then back to Gloucester the same day then I'd be into that - definitely!

I've no problem with people going one way as long as they're happy to pay for the same as everyone. £19.

It would be awkward to have one rate for people going one way and another for people going both ways. In other words we'd sooner have everyone on the bus going both ways and paying the same amount.

Now it would probably be cheaper for people going one way to travel on the train (although probably more hassle with the two changes etc.)

I'm booking the bus now.

It's £295 for a sixteen seater. If we fill it, it'll be £19 a head but if there's only 12 on board then we'll divide it 12 ways.

If the bus is full whoever goes both ways should have priority IMO,

But as train is only £7 don't see myself paying £19 for a bus

What are you saying we're the the Bi-Bus?
How dare you??

Seriously, that's fair enough Sarah.

We'll prioritise people making the return trip.

If there's spare seats then we'll take one or two one-wayers for a tenner a head.

Okay,

I've booked the sixteen seater bus on my credit card.

It's £295 (£19 a head if bus full).

So far the people on board are:

Donny +5
Apple +2
Phil 06
Dave Cahill
Leinster Lady
Grumpy

That's thirteen so there's three spaces available. If anyone drops out, please let me know.

If any of the people going one way are happy to pay the full whack then PM me, but I'll understand if you prefer to take the train for £7.

The schedule is as follows

Pick-up at 11.30 in Gloucester (First at Longford Inn and then a city centre location to be determined).

This should get us to Bath about 12.45 - drop off near the Recreation ground (Pultney Arms/Boater).

The match is on at 2.00. It shouldn't be hard to get tickets.

Then the bus is picking us up at 8.30 in the evening near the Rec and back to Glaws before ten.

When I'm sure of the numbers and the amount charged in euro I'll let you know about paying.

Yes Brother Grumpy, but between this and the international tickets, mine is close to collapse!

Yeah it should be a bit of craic alright and it will break up the weekend nicely!

Gawd I 'm tempted to stay on and go with you. Sounds a good plan but I'm supposed to fly back Saturday. I love Bath.
