Looking ahead

Post by Leinster Zulu »

If we beat Wasps and Northampton beat Biarritz, any suggestions for the SF venue???:

-Villa Park (44.000) Birmingham

- St. Andrews (30.000) Birmingham

- The Hawthorns (30.000) Birmingham

- Walkers Stadium (30.000) Leicester

- The City Ground (38.000) Nottingham

I'd like Villa Park, 11.000 Leinster fans would get tickets (maybe more) :D

Brummie is a hole, not very hospitable, and certainly not a Rugby town. Access to Villa Park is pretty poor aswell.

I'd prefer to see the likes of the Walker Stadium used, but in fairness its all pie in the sky, because it's pretty unlikely that the Saints will beat Biarritz.

Didn't a certain Province face the same odds in Southern France last year?

Quite right!

Too much "looking ahead" and we're liable to trip over our own feet!

Remember the last time we were looking ahead to where we'd play our "home" quarter-final.......and look how that turned out! :?

Yes, but Northampton are cr@p. Anyway, I'm not thinking about the semis from now until after the quater, whatever the result is.
