I'm off for a week as well. Really inconvenient that I can't fly back from bordeaux-ish to Dublin on sat the 20th.

Looked a while back, given its peak summer season when this is on flights are pricey - saving the money for Leinster away instead (you'd probably do 3 or 4 Pro 12 away games for the price of that single trip).

I'm going thurs to thurs (ryanair-> edinburgh to bordeaux £180 all in a couple of weeks ago) as I can't physically get from anywhere near to bordeaux to dublin on sat 20th in time for the return game  . It'd obviously be much easier to go weekend to weekend then back home from dublin on the sunday.

Just checked and prices are now £15 cheaper eachway    £95 return plus taxes plus baggage. plus flights to/ from edinburgh for €38 euro plus taxes etc.

I think AerLingus are currently at silly prices but obviously it depends exactly when/ how long you want to go for.

Flying Dublin to La Rochelle on 10th, then Back La Rochelle to Cork on the 18th. worked out at about 60-70 yoyo all in, staying near La Rochelle for the week except for the night of the Ireland game

Why not take in a vineyard tour in St Emilion while you are there?

Looks good, and it's free too!
