Ticket prices for 2012/13

Postby sheepshagger » June 11th, 2012, 12:25 am

The IRFU has announced a competitively priced range of tickets for the 2012/13 season of Irish rugby internationals.

Tickets for the 2012 GUINNESS Series opener against South Africa range from 15 euro (schoolboys) to 65 euro (Category 1) and for the Argentina game, from 10 euro (schoolboys) to 55 euro (Category 1).
There are also various optional packages which will offer significant value.

For the GUINNESS Series, parent and child tickets (in Categories 3 and 4) will be available from 45 euro for South Africa and 30 euro for Argentina.

Irish Rugby Supporters Club members will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets from 10am on Friday, June 15 on IrishRugby.ie for the GUINNESS Series games against South Africa and Argentina.

Ticket prices for the 2013 RBS 6 Nations remain the same as the prices for the corresponding fixtures against England and France in 2011.

An Ireland XV will play Fiji at Thomond Park on Saturday, November 17. Ticket prices for this fixture will be announced in due course.

Commenting on the prices, Pat Fitzgerald, IRFU Commercial and Marketing Committee Chairman, said: "In putting our ticket price structures in place for the 2012/13 season our aim has been to continue to offer many options as possible to Irish rugby supporters.

"We believe that the different category levels give all our supporters an opportunity to come to the Aviva Stadium and see Ireland play against some of the best teams in the world.

"Our ticketing strategy last year helped to draw sell-out crowds and for the coming season we're confident that, once again, we will see Ireland playing to full houses at the Aviva Stadium."

Optional packages are available for Premium Level and Category 1 tickets for South Africa and Argentina.

Customers who choose to purchase the same ticket in these categories for both games can avail of a package price offering exceptional value.

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased for the individual matches at the individual ticket prices listed.
