Re: Niall Kiely
A supporter from either side was asked to write a piece for the Times today. Ours chose to write about our team and supporters and theirs chose to write about ours as well

He's really shown us what it is to be a redcoat.
I couldn't believe he could be so stupid to insult us on matchday the way he did,
ammunition for the wall and all that.

Some of his points are completely factually incorrect - sure why let the facts get in the way of a good lash at Leinster.Provincial Towns wrote:Less of the personal abuse lads. His arguments are valid.

It's not an argument though. That's the problem. It's poorly written and he comes across as one of those who will smugly crow all the way back to the city centre if Munster win.
...to the sound of a Sivivatu slap!

Christ when you're siding with this arrogant w&%ker against your own you really know you have self esteem issues!
The self-hating Leinster fan, how pathetic!
Bet you can't wait for us to get hammered so you can come on here with the "I told you so"s

What an arrogant shite.... These guy are clearly paid to write on a certain topic,
i would blame the paper just as much as the journalist!!
Any leinster biased papers should not be purchased, and there sites should not be viewed by
any sane Rugby fan....

My Lord, that was really awful. one of the worst I've ever seen.
We're often way too precious on here about the media having a go at Leinster, but this d!%khead is way over the top.

Re: Niall Kiely
Hmmmmmmm....... the man describes Leinster as being disillusioned, but surely that is the word to describe him as a "fan"? His rant has about 15 paragraphs, and there are 2 half-paragraphs about Munster; one is confirmation of his booking on the ferry to Scotland; and the second is the passionate fans who have been from Lille to the Backhand. But this Munster fan, classing himself in the same catagory as other Munster fans, spends his article talking about Leinster, and their fans. That's PASSION for you.Dave Cahill wrote:A supporter from either side was asked to write a piece for the Times today. Munster may win this evening, they most probably will, and good luck to them. But Niall Kiely will always remain a loser.

Re: Niall Kiely
why does everything have to be so polar. the guy wrote a piece you don't like so he's a complete tosser?? Was there not a grain of truth in some of it? Totally agree that it was foolhardy to write it today but don't just dismiss all of it out of hand.

It certainly doesnt warrant the personal abuse here. It makes us look pathetic that we cant swallow it and see if the team can respond on the pitch.

Read this earlier on the way to the game, in what was a nice 4 pager in the times, and then this trash - nothing short of a disgrace.
