Doesn't really matter. I personally wouldn't resign Trev as anything more than a squad player.....

Browne re-signed for Saints. He turned down Connacht earlier on when they also approached JOC. Would have been a great signing.

has Casey definitely resigned for Irish? I didn't think he had....

I wouldn't be surprisred if Cheika and Knoxy weren't making eyes at our skipper, a more than useful player IMHO...

But to lose both front line second rowers in one season would be just too fookin much to take

To be honest I think this is a hit we're going to have to take for Ireland. We've got a decent enough pairing in MOK and Byrnes being backed up by Jowitt and Gissing. I reckon players like Toner and Marc Warburton (mentioned yesterday in the IT as being close to a contract) will be used more next season.

I don't think lock has affected us this season so hopefully that will continue. Our priority is to replace Reggie (how much longer can he go on?) and Eric. Obviously if Jowitt is staying he'll probably be first choice 6 but that leaves only Potts and Ronan covering the first choice backrow.

Well we'll have O'Kelly, Gissing, Byrnes as dedicated 2nd row players with Toner there also. He needs to beef up a lot.
Back row/locks - Jowitt and Potts.
Dedicated back row players - Ronan, Gleeson, Heaslip
Not too shabby..... and don't forget the one and only.........
