Where is he now?
Whereas lots of boys dream of running away to join the circus Murray ran away from the circus after the Lions tour to be a normal boy!!
(He took six months out to see the world - said he'd be back in 2018)
That is utter bullshit. Accurate journalism should not be permitted holidays.
He should be hunted down and returned before the hacks he left behind ruin it for everyone.
Last night's Best Sporting Moments on RTE was as good a live sport's broadcast as I have seen for years. All five pundits / commentators were excellent and knowlegible. The banter was sharp and reflected how supporters and fans of different sports viewed the other games.
Munster's defeat of NZ got the anticipated support but once again the unanimous pundit's opinion was overwhelmed by the punter's view. Well done RTE.

Ah, that explains why that utter gasbag McKenna was mouthing off on twitter this morning about that Munster game.
Some might say that the loss of O'Mahony, despite his current status as a first-choice back-row, could also be absorbed by the presence of others such as Josh van der Flier, Rhys Ruddock and Dan Leavy. Best of luck with that.
The elephant in the room - although the IRFU may not be able to ignore it for long - concerns the centrally-contracted back-row Jamie Heaslip, whose current inactivity will, rightly or wrongly, become inextricably linked with O'Mahony's contract negotiations.
Kelly in the INDO.
Heads up Kelly, Jamie is "inextricably linked" to everything that goes wrong in Munsterland.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Could be argued the current POM interest is a direct result of heaslips injury, if not for it he'd have benched vs England, most likely not made the Lions squad, not captained them etc. etc.
Ok I know its joe.ie but saying IRFU offer of 280k for Stander is insulting is a bit much, plus provincial deal of 260k he was on is pretty damn good for a provincial deal
Plus youd imagine theyd offer 350k plus add ons as a final offer and it will be taken

It's a total bullshit article - reckon it was written by Stander's agent, his accountant or else his wife!!!
Have you ever seen such rubbish about a player buying into a province. Richardt Strauss learned the anthem too and more than that - he actually took Irish citizenship yet nobody ever praises his commitment to Leinster and Ireland. I hate contract renewal time with agents using the media to do all their work for them.

It gets worse every year, its real dogwhistle stuff
Mad thing is it was Luke sharing it; he was right about Furlong deserving the best deal of them all

Fitzgerald? He was one of the original contact bluffers so not that mad at all.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014 Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles
Luke always talked the worst shite when he was a player. Since he's retired he's only gone downhill. I used to not listen to him out of sympathy, you don't want to hear a player like him embarrassing himself, now it's out of lack of interest.

Did I imagine it or is joe.ie part owned by one of the Munster coaching staff??
