The best news in a while. Will be great to see him take the most cap record for Ireland and hopefully add a few honors. He is missing a win over NZ, a win in the Lions and a world cup medal. The last one will take another "One more Year" chant. I can see him sticking around IF he comes through the lions in one piece and competitive and IF next year goes well results wise and without to much wear and tear on his already battered bone.

BOD is being quoted on Sky, saying next season is his last.
He won't make the RWC 2015, he says because he can't see himself going thru three more pre-seasons.
However this time next year it'll only be two pre-seasons - One pre-season at a time Oh Great One!
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

Does anyone know what he is planning to do after retirement? Does he have plans to go into media/business/coaching? It would be great if he could stay involved with the game as a coach.

I've heard a lot of interviews with him but he only ever seems to be asked when he is retiring or if he is staying on.

Best bit of that was when he said he considered putting on a Chelsea jersey with "Terry 37" on it for the celebrations.
Can I raise a practical question at this point? Are we gonna do "Stonehenge" tomorrow?

Lions and Ireland captain who's articulate and intelligent, think he'll get loads of punditry work.

Would a man of his drive be satisfied with being just another paid pundit on the telly?

He already has plenty of business interests on the go. Paid rugby punditry is a handy little sideline but it's not like football where you can get rich off it.

Simon Zebo eat your heart out!!!!

If Drico had done a move as sublime as that during an actual game commentators worldwide would be creaming themselves for eternity. The talent of the man is breathtaking.
The odds are good but the goods are odd.
