This really needs a thread of it's own and the Sexton to Racing thread is rooted in bad news. Hopefully this thread will end in good news.

Quoted in the Indo as saying he wants contract shenanigans sorted by Christmas (I was going to call this thread 'All I want for Christmas is you' but that could end in a restraining order). The campaign to bring him home needs to gather some momentum over the Summer and through the Autumn. I can't believe that, apart from a certain Bond villain type in Toulon, there is any party who doesn't want this to happen.

I used to think that Johnnys return could only happen at the expense of Jimmy G but with Mads looking like the real deal in midfield perhaps there could be a happy ending here for everyone (oooh matron!!).
