Great news for the guy. Delighted.curates_egg wrote:My source in Italy tells me McKinley has signed with Treviso for next season.
The incredible story keeps giving. McKinley will be back in the Pro12. Fair balls to him.

Are we going to get to a place where other players with two good eyes start thinking about wearing these glasses to avoid a possible problem.

Well done to Ian. It is a bit of good news.

Re: Ian McKinley's magic glasses
If Ian was to have a solid year for Treviso would he/could he be picked for the Italian National team? Is he over there long enough? He has better skills then any current Italian flyhalf. Surely his fundamentals would be a better bet at 10 then anyone else?

Their new/young guy Canna is pretty good, dont think McKinley WALKS in ahead of himStuka wrote:If Ian was to have a solid year for Treviso would he/could he be picked for the Italian National team? Would love to see him get an international call up though, fair play to him.

Not finished article yet but exciting, was playing club rugby in Italy (not provincial) when he first got capped, has shown some good moments for Italy, usual problem of trying to judge his full potential in a poor sideStuka wrote:simonokeeffe wrote:Their new/young guy Canna is pretty good, dont think McKinley WALKS in ahead of himStuka wrote:If Ian was to have a solid year for Treviso would he/could he be picked for the Italian National team? The Indo article on/with McKinley is online now: https://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/ ... 41676.html
Would be very special for him to run out in Landsdowne Road.
