Byrne isn't in the European squad. Suspect they're not being risked with the game against the Dragons next Friday on the horizon.
:( That would seem to mean that we will be missing 17 players for that game so
Nah, some fringe players are always released.

Crosbie at 10 isn't a surprise, he was 3rd choice 10 during the WC too.

Has very rarely started at 10 for Leinster, although he's doing it regularly for Belvo in AIL. Will be very interesting to watch his form, outside McCarthy rather than club-mate Rock. He has an excellent skill-set but missed out when Byrne arrived.

His kicking game is very average for a 10.. be interesting to see if he gets a development deal next season.

Two I think but he was tiny coming out of school. Was bulking up injured for a lot of time during that period.

Was more of athlete than a great rugby player when he was younger. Connacht have brought him on a lot.

Something their academy probably does better than the rest.

Leinster raced into a quick 10-0 lead, first try took 32 seconds. Looked like another easy romp but credit to the Titans they kept hitting back and kept us honest until the last five minutes or so, scoring four tries in total, two from a very effective maul. Crosbie had a fine game, first at ten and then at centre when Carbery came on for the injured O'Loughlin. Carbery played some nice stuff too and McGrath and Kelleher took their tries well.

In the pack I thought James Ryan went well and Josh Murphy was solid as ever. Brian Byrne made some good bursts too.

Overall a very entertaining game and home quarter-final secured for the 11th March.

On a slight tangent but any word on Ed Byrne's rehab?
