He's a player who hasn't made any significant improvements whatsoever over the last three years, and needed to make 'em. The difference in the scrum when he replaced Mike McCarthy was [again] a marked decline. That's supposed to be his selling point, that he can scrummage on the right hand side.

To be frank, when I think of the second rows we have shipped out in the last three years - Quinn Roux, Ben Marshall, Mark Flanagan – I really think that any of them could have done better than he did. Hopefully we can get Mick Kearney back within the next few weeks and then draw a line under Denton, with Kearney and Molony as back-ups to McCarthy and Toner respectively.
Kearney is out til March afaik

Think you need to look again - Ferg is on 81.8% and Mads is on 83.8

Nice Stats Xanthippe. Sometimes selective numbers are manipulated to make a point. But gather them together and they tell a story!

None of us may like the reality, or conclusion, of that story but Sean Cronin and Jack McGrath as our 2nd and 4th highest try scorers says it all.
