The Leinster Munster game at the start of April is down for the RDS. Always listed like this initially or are we moving the game?
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

FIR and Rai Sport today announced that they have reached an agreement to broadcast, live and HD on Rai Sport 1, both the Guinness PRO12 and the Italian domestic competition (Eccellenza). The deal will last for the current season, with an option for the next one.

The Guinness PRO12 matches will be on Rai Sport 1 HD on Saturday afternoon, one match being broadcast live at 5.30pm and a second one recorded during the week-end: earlier in the current season, some changes could be necessary to avoid clashes with Italy's Rugby World Cup 2015 matches.

10, 27 and 45 buses all go past Meggetland and through central parts of town. Taxis are also pretty cheap around Edinburgh (although possibly not that cheap with euro to sterling) but will be hard to get back after the game. Could also probably walk there in 30 mins from Lothian Road.

Saw that, thanks.

I suppose I'm not being realistic by expecting Leinster to post a notice on their web-site informing their travelling fans of the change... :x

Paddy Power odds for the Pro12.
Glasgow Warriors 5/2
Munster 11/4
Leinster 3/1
Ulster 9/2
Ospreys 7/1
Scarlets 25/1
Edinburgh 33/1
Connacht 50/1
Cardiff Blues 66/1
Dragons 100/1
Benetton Treviso 500/1
Zebre 1000/1
I'm puttin 10 grand on Cardiff!
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Cardiff have more chance of winning an all priest over 75s five a side football tournament

Glasgow will be doing well to fulfill their fixture list during the world cup, theyve 20 players going which is 3 more than us, Munster for my money

the final venue hasnt been announced yet has it?

The Odds differential between Cardiff and Dragons is madness, given the players and progress of the respective teams. Could be a good opportunity for a bit of arbitrage

Favaro just called up by Italy so Glasgow have 21 players going to world cup at least

Also this flew under the radar but some disturbing reading on why they released Roussow De Klerk if anyone wants to google it

Final venue hasn't been announced yet.

Think we've only got 20 going. 16 Scotland, 1 Fiji, 1 Tonga, 1 USA.

de Klerk will be a big loss as he was just beginning to get to grips with Pro12 and would have been really useful this season but stupid stupid idiot for the reasons for leaving. Think he's been signed by Grenoble.

some journos are saying Murrayfield, huge advantage Glasgow if correct

My mistake, Favaro makes 20, Big Jerry is in Fiji standby squad, one would imagine Glasgow players covering Hooker, Prop, maybe backrow, Scrumhalf too at least

Hadn't heard the Murrayfield rumour. Not sure that would be any advantage really. I thought Thomond was the front runner.

Be interesting to see how we start this season. I'm not yet convinced it won't be disastrous.

a lot easier to go an hour down the road on 2 weeks notice (and cheaper) than to fly to a different country, plus neutrals/general Scottish rugby fans etc

dont think youll top the table but the draw is kind enough, Scarlets, Connacht (tricky), Dragons at home during RWC, Munster away might be a spanking BUT then you have Leinster away albeit huge chance youll have all your internationals back before we get any. 5 games during 6n window are 3 at home and Dragons away. A big question will be how much focus is put on Europe

Second row, outhalf and centre will be decimated during RWC. First choice back 3 gone too
Front row, backrow, scrumhalf look solid though any injuries there and you could be in trouble

To be honest there's been so many changes over the summer I'll have great difficulty recognising half of whatever team is named for Saturday.

Unless they change the rules again there's no advantage to go all out to finish first so top 4 finish should be the minimum with top 2 ideal finish.

If we can't get out of the group in europe this year I despair!

Good luck to Leinster for the season.

The important thing is we keep the Welsh out of the playoffs, ideally Europe but the playoffs at least
