the giant tighthead obsession messed Munster up way more than us
I know you're talking about Buckley, but I can't think of their tightheads without thinking of Borlaise. Mentioned this several times but his performance against Leinster A on Good Friday a few years back was far and away the worst and most disgraceful performance I've ever seen from any player. He couldn't keep up with the play and put all his energy into getting in stupid fights. It reminded me of an overweight supporter with a few pints on him just running onto the field and trying to join in.
he did well when he came on for South Africa against Samoa in Villa Park

am also thinking Dave Ryan now in Italy

Johne Murphy..... retired this August? I seem to have missed that.
Any particular reason?

Solid number 7, shame really. There's a real opportunity to cross fertilize the irish player base, are short term loans used frequently between the provinces?

Dennis Hurley is leaving Munster. Retiring or moving on to another club, dunno, but had a good run in the red of Munster.

That list is pretty out of date now

Shame for Hurley, if he'd played more at 12 and less on the wing who knows
