You can be from Ireland and your home province might not be Leinster. Leinster is made up of 12 of the 32 counties.

You tend to assume an awful lot without thinking things through.
my reply should have said: if you are from leinster and you have no ties to glasgow and you are a glasgow fan, i find that odd.

just like if someone from dublin with no ties to kerry supported kerry football etc.

but look it's fairly irrelevent, anyone can support anyone who am i to comment on it.

Thanks for the support folks but no need to fight about it!

For clarity- never have I ever said I'm from Leinster. Because I'm not.
As I said above I've absolutely no rugby ties to my home Province hence I have no problem now supporting my local team. Also yes I've no ties to Glasgow except choosing to live here for the last 15 years!

If the games in march hopefully by that time both teams will have found some form and it's a decent game.

Don't worry, I don't need to defend someone to enter into an argument with GG.

I'd say no one on this site hates Lunsters as much as I do, but live and let live.

But what will happen if Madigan signs for Munster next season?

It is odd in that it probably doesn't happen that often. However depending on when the person moved to Glasgow and when they got into rugby it is quite possible that it makes perfect sense at the same time.

If it is March it'll be between second string sides though. Which for the last 2 champions seems a bit of a waste, especially given the numbers we both contribute to the 6Ns.

Well judging by how both teams are doing in the Champions, it's quite feasible that both of them will be free on the weekend of European quarter-finals and would (injury allowing) have full squads available to pick from, so it might be worth waiting a few weeks before re-arranging the fixture.

Yup. First time in many years I'll miss it.
