Henshaw.
He and Ringrose to form a partnership to rival the diddymen.
Luke and Te'o will do just fine for this season though.

Personally, I can't wait to see the Te'o 12, Ringrose 13 combo given a run out!
Re: Who is your favourite to play 12?
Can I be cheeky and request Ringrose at 12, T'eo 13? (interchangeable during the game). I feel we need Luke on the wing.
"This is breathless stuff.....it's on again. Contepomi out to Hickie,D'Arcy,Hickie.......................HICKIE FOR THE CORNER! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Who is your favourite to play 12?
Te'o / Ringrose for me.
A/ Because I think it would work and
B/ Wouldn't be bad practice for the season if Te'o were to leave and Henshaw arrive.
I think Te'o would be a much more effective defender from 12 with shooting out and nailing guys behind the line, but if he doesn't get it right, he's not exposing the outsider winger, back-rows can drift out. He would also be a great foil to fix defenders if Sexton is doing his loop, nobody will risk Te'o taking a flat ball in midfield and so will stick on him making space around the back, he also is great at breaking the line and has the acceleration to get in behind teams and Ringrose could really benefit off of his shoulder ... I think he brings more to 12 than Fitzgerald and I also think we do a great disservice to our team with Fitz at 12, as good as he is there, we badly need him out on the wing where we have the least quality available and also it blocks the integration of Ringrose into the team which should be most important. (and not on the wing - I understand the cotton wool the first couple of times, but he's shown more than enough now to prove he's ready and we need to nurture that by giving him every opportunity).
My ideal Backline with what we've got: 9.L.McGrath 10. Sexton 11. Fitzgerald 12. Te'o 13. Ringrose 14. Nacewa 15. R.Kearney ... 21. Reddan 22. Madigan 23. McFadden / DK

That is good logic. Can I change my mind?COYBIB wrote:Te'o / Ringrose for me.

Doesn't seem like we will see it though.
