D'Arce has spoken
I have to admit I was a little sceptical when D'Arce began his column for the IT, but I am happy to say he keeps on producing well thought out and well written articles:

Already in the Whiff of Cordite thread.
Re: D'Arce has spoken
I reckin D'Arce deserves a thread of his own. They are good articles.

Darcy certainly has his finger on the pulse of Leinster, and all Irish rugby. His articles consistently pick up the relevant elements of what's happening and offer a suggestion, based on real experience and analytic thought, as to how to correct it.
As a former coach, I love reading his pieces and hope that all of the Leinster squad understand the significance of his advice

Re: D'Arce has spoken
He really calls out a bollicking by cheika as the turning point for that team, I find that sort of stuff fascinating. The question is this: will Leo pull the bus over and bawl the lads out on the bus on the way home? I really hope he either:
A: doesn't need to because the lads are feeling the pain OR
B: will rip the arses off them and get a reaction from the bottom of their balls

Re: D'Arce has spoken
D'Arcy's basically saying Cheika gave the lads a kick up the hole and Leo needs to do the same.

Yeah I did but it didn't work out.
As you can see I was able to say in one line what it took oldschoolsocks to say in four.
My editor just said to me, not enough flim flam in your work OS, you'll never make it.
By flim flam he meant - People don't like to hear the truth. He said they prefer ambiguity.
Thanks for the kind words.
If I ever do manage to publish my rantings and ravings I'll be looking for people to buy it.
At which stage I reckon I could be persuaded to compromise the truth if the price was right.
