Would be great top see Healy back to his best as it would give Leinster and Ireland a huge advantage. Being able to rotate those two and launch either off the bench would be massive.

Is Jack McGrath currently the best loosehead in the world?

Any chance this Porter lad could play on the tight head side? Looks an absolute animal and given our depth at loose head and losing Moore at tight head, could be an ideal switch, his scrummaging is superb.

If what Paul Wallace said about the difference between scrummaging at TH and LH is true, then a switch to 3 might reduce his energy in the loose, lessening what he's really good atCOYBIB wrote:Any chance this Porter lad could play on the tight head side? It doesn't really work that way.COYBIB wrote:Any chance this Porter lad could play on the tight head side? Looks an absolute animal and given our depth at loose head and losing Moore at tight head, could be an ideal switch, his scrummaging is superb.
Healy is super strong but was never really an option for switching. McGrath is a world class loosehead but well down the pecking order at tighthead.

Porter is exceptional. But agree with Ronk. It does'nt work like that. Jack McGrath is a top class Loose Head & hopefully Porter will get his chances too. He will probably give Dooley a run for his money next season. Hopefully the rest is exactly what Healy needs.
