Really excellent player for Leinster, Wasps and Ireland over the years. Thanks and wish him well for future career.

My favourite Leinster player bar none, it's a shame that he won't be there to impart his nous to the next generation of scrummy coming through

Second best Irish 9 of the pro era after Murray. Key player for Leinster, Whitaker hadn't been good enough for a year or two before his arrival, Heineken Cup win or not.

Tbf to whittaker he was repeatedly played when not fully fit as Cheika did not like the backup

Sorry to hear he won't go out with the RDS roaring his name but thanks for everything Eoin. Amazing career and he maintained an incredible level of pace to his game right up to the end. Now go kick some Saffer arse.
