Even before the tournament started if one English team was to go through I would have wanted it to be Exeterfootrush wrote:Have a real soft spot for Exeter been to both of our games there and find there supporters knowledgeable and warm hearted they have a great integrity about their club and the way they compete.simonokeeffe wrote:even if only one English side goes through thatd be great, but zero, now that would be sweet

Re: European Rugby Champions Cup
Everyone loves Exeter. They’re all that good in the great tradition of English rugby. Integrity in the Coach & mentors, gracious supporters, genuine locally focused style. Decent People.footrush wrote:Have a real soft spot for Exeter been to both of our games there and find there supporters knowledgeable and warm hearted they have a great integrity about their club and the way they compete.simonokeeffe wrote:even if only one English side goes through thatd be great, but zero, now that would be sweet
Of course it helps to be admiring when we’ve beaten them twice!

As one of the few teams that have the potential to beat us I'll shed no tears if Exeter get done by Glasgow.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

Yeah, C'mon Glasgow!
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Yeah, my admiration doesn’t go as far as wanting them to remain a threat to us. So I won’t be crying if Glasgow beat them. And I’m sure (seriously) that Exeter will take that as a compliment.

Glad they're out. Not because I don't like them. It's because I respect them and wouldn't fancy another outingDave Cahill wrote:Yeah but brythonic celts, not proper gods-fearing decent goidelic celts

Saracens looking back to their old selves here. If Racing or Ulster fail to win, we could be hosting them in the QF

The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

Re: European Rugby Champions Cup
I think you've that wrong. As it stands they're on course for 6th or 7th seed. They've the same points difference as Ulster now. If Ulster win and Racing win we get them as 8th seed.Cianostays wrote:Saracens looking back to their old selves here. If Racing or Ulster fail to win, we could be hosting them in the QF

Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

Stand over what I said about Exeter , Saracens however are another matter altogether will never forget having to listen to someone called Tiny Tempa at half time in Wembley !. If I never come across them again it will be too soon !.Cianostays wrote:Saracens looking back to their old selves here. If Racing or Ulster fail to win, we could be hosting them in the QF

One match point for Toulon or 2 for Scarlets is 19 points
Racing need to win for 19
