A totally ridiculous time for the Scarlets game for those of us that work on Good Friday

It's certainly not a bank holiday but most 'nine to five' offices are closed on Good Friday afaik.

With Scarlets on the Friday we'll know at least that a win on the Sun might give us a home SF. Another nice little carrot as if we needed it!

Double edged sword. If Scarlets win Saracens know that if they win they also get a home semi. Saracens only play away if La Rochelle and themselves both win.

It is a bank holiday but not a public holiday.

Correct - apologies, I used bank holiday interchangeably with public holiday which is common but not right.

I thought it was the other way around. ie that the banks actually open on Good Friday or used to.

The Thursday, Friday and Monday are holidays in my neck of the woods, great weekend to travel home for a game.

Montpellier beat Clermont in Clermont yesterday. Not that many teams can say that.
You should be careful drawing reference points, but that shows (if nothing else) Montpellier are a decent side...who we dispatched pretty handily in their own patch with a side that was not our first 23.

I'd take a different view - Clermont-Ferrand are in trouble with injuries, and are ripe for picking. In their current state I wouldn't back them to win the home QF.

It's possibly the best time to face them in the past decade. And that was their second loss at home this season (Castres beat them over Christmas). But away wins in Clermont are still as rare as hens' teeth.

It was a really big event for MontP because VC was going back to Clermont for the first time and it was his wedding anniversary. He ear-marked this match way back in July during his first Interview with Midi O on his appointment as Head Coach in MontP. Lots of their Officials were talking about that game last week - before our kick-off against them.

Last minute try by Nadolo and convert by Pienaar were absolutely decisive.

Struggling to find this online - if both we and La Rochelle win this weekend, the semi-final would be in France. But where? All I can see on the EPCR site is that La Rochelle would have home country advantage, at an EPCR-approved venue.

You'd guess it would be in Bordeaux, but I can't find this anywhere online. I have no recollection of seeing it being announced, as usually happens. Can anyone enlighten me, please? Thinking of whether I need to consider being in France on the weekend of 21st-22nd April...
