Great stuff, he's incredibly important to us.

Must say, I'm slightly surprised that he has spent his full career in Leinster. A few years ago would've been full sure that he would move to France/SH at some stage.

Nice one Jamie. Here's to another three years of being the best 8 on the island.

He will have ambitions to play/captain in Rugby World Cup Final in Yokohama on 2nd November 2019 & win a few trophies with Leinster after that!

There should be a statue of Jamie in the town square in Naas, a proper one not like that aul resin John Devoy thing (and maybe a lesser one of Geordie behind somewhere).
The odds are good but the goods are odd.

Happy at Leinster, playing for Ireland, playing great rugby, in line for a Lions call, increasing business interests here. All makes sense but an absolutely fantastic signing. Arguably contributed more than any player to the club over the last decade.

Much as I love Jamie, wouldn't it be a huge irony if he was using this as a bargaining chip to drive up his value for Toulon

Could possibly beat O'Driscoll's caps if he keeps his place to the world cup. 91 caps for Ireland and 5 for the lions.

133 + 8, even if he stayed injury free he'd have to play past the RWC probably?
Conor Murray the man to break BODs record I reckons

Yeah, you're right. Contract is to 2020 mind you. Depending on how far we get in the world cup he might get close though! He could get up to 12 each in 2017 & 2018 with summer touring, then 2019 6 nations, warm ups + the world cup could bring him about the same again. He would still be 9 shy. Probably won't beat 141 really.

Great result for us. He's an amazing player, a great guy from a great family. Exactly the player who should be kept and rewarded for his effort and loyalty.

Excellent news. He's hugely important in keeping culture standards up, and will be one of the last links to the pre-09 era.
