Saturday April 8th at 3pm for that pivotal Ospreys game

The Ireland starters will only return for the Wasps game so should have a full deck

Based on the rules of 4 point win for home team, LBP for away team and 5 pointer v Italians we come out with this

Munster 85
Ospreys 82
Leinster 78
Scarlets 72
Ulster 68
Glasgow 61

So you can see that a win in the Library will most likely yield a home semi. If not we need to beat Connacht to go into the last day with a hope.

Us playing Ulster away and Ospreys playing Scarlets away on the last day of the season could be interesting. It could decide 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th.

Looks like a cracking end to the season.

That confirms the very rough scenario I had in my head.
A draw vs Ospreys would do us in that scenario, right?

Would give us 1 more and them 2 less. So no. We would still need them to lose to Scarlets AND we would need to beat Connacht or Ulster.

We haven't got many LBPs this season but, if we lose games, we will want to try and at least not get mullered.

The numbers above follow the rules I set out above. Winning BPs are not included (bar v Italian teams) and losing BPs are granted to away teams not playing Italians. All home wins in the table.

It is unlikely that the rest of the league will play out with no away wins and every team getting an LBP. But you have to start somewhere.

You've earned your subscription fee and made your point: we need to beat someone away, preferably hairsprays.

We took 13 points from these five fixtures last season. 4 points against Cardiff, Ospreys and Glasgow, 1 against Connacht and nada against Ulster.

We need to lose more games so we can pick up a few more lbps I reckon.

Its ridiculous that Edinburgha and Zebre are so far ahead of us with losing bonus points

We were close in Glasgow (33-25) and Scarlets (38-29)

Probably not the right thread, but on the note of Ospreys being crucial game, return day trip with Ryanair to Bristol is 30 quid. Bit tight on the way back with flight being at 9.10 but should be able to make it.

I know the powers that be might not be happy with me for saying this on the forum but I feel that it's something that has to be stated publicly.
I'm quite sure I'm not alone in expressing these sentiments.

He certainly is a gent, and that beer belly is all paid for as anyone who has seen him skull pints in the Horsehow House and the Bridge (weirdly he has been seen in both pubs at the same time) will attest to.
