The Liffey delineates between Dublin's North and South sides.
Belvedere College is North of the Liffey, ergo in North Dublin.
If Congowes College is south of the Liffey, then it could be argued that it is MAYBE south side of dublin.
More importantly, who cares? :wink:

The Phoenix Park has a South Dublin post code, I think Belvo lobbied for and got the same exception

Clutching at straws - I know some people who live in Foxrock but I wouldn't use their post code to find their house.

whether you care or not;
Clongowes is in Kildare; and its actually on the Northside of the river (Liffey that is)

Well you'd hardly expect De President (or probably more likely the American Ambassador) to live on the Northside would you?

It's also brilliant for the Leinster Rugby brand.
Am I the only person from Campile on here ??

Sort of, Dublin 8 postal district has always been managed from an office North of the Liffey so a part of the Dublin 8 postal district is North of the Liffey.

As for Belvo, I assume that's a joke but in a world where Terenure was lobbying to move Dáil constituency to avoid voting with hoi polloi who knows?
